Thank you for your interest in our online shop. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. Below we inform you in detail about the handling of your data.

  1. Access data and hosting: When users visit the website, the web server automatically collects access data, such as the name of the requested file, IP address, date and time of the request, and the requesting provider. These access data are used for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the website and improving the quality of service. All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after the end of the user's visit.

  2. Data processing for contract processing and contacting: Personal data is collected for the purpose of contract processing when users voluntarily provide this information during the ordering process. Some data fields are mandatory as the processing of the order cannot be completed without the information. After the contract has been fully processed, the data is stored for the duration of the retention period according to legal requirements and will be deleted after the retention period has ended.

  3. Customer account: If users create a customer account on the website, their personal data is stored for the purpose of creating the account and making it possible to place future orders. The user can delete their account at any time.

  4. Contact: Users can contact the website through different means, such as a contact form or email. Personal data collected during the communication process is used for the sole purpose of processing the inquiry and will be deleted after the request has been fulfilled, unless the user has consented to further use.

  5. Data processing for shipping: Personal data is passed on to the shipping company for the sole purpose of fulfilling the contract.

  6. Data processing for payment: If users choose a payment method, the necessary data will be collected for the purpose of processing the payment. The data is stored by the payment service provider and not by the website.

  1. Cookies and other technologies General information To make your visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use technologies including so-called cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are automatically stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies).

We use such technologies that are strictly necessary for the use of certain functions of our website (e.g. shopping cart function). Through these technologies, IP address, time of visit, device and browser information as well as information on your use of our website (e.g. information on the content of the shopping cart) are collected and processed. This is done as part of a balancing of interests with predominant legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can find the cookie settings for your browser at the following links: Microsoft Edge™ / Safari™ / Chrome™ / Firefox™ / Opera™

If you have given your consent to the use of the technologies in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, you can revoke your consent at any time by sending a message to the contact details described in the privacy policy.

  1. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge To display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and to offer Trusted Shops products to buyers after an order, the Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website.

This serves to safeguard our predominant legitimate interests in optimal marketing by enabling secure shopping in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer of Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne, Germany. The Trustbadge is made available by a content delivery network (CDN) as part of an order processing. Trusted Shops GmbH also uses service providers from the USA. An appropriate level of data protection is ensured. Further information on data protection at Trusted Shops GmbH can be found here.

When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which also contains your IP address, date and time of the call-up, transferred data volume and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the call-up. Individual access data are stored in a security database for the analysis of security abnormalities. The log files are automatically deleted no later than 90 days after creation.

Further personal data will be transferred to Trusted Shops GmbH if you decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order or have already registered for their use. The contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies. For this purpose, personal data is automatically collected from the order data. Whether you are already registered as a buyer for product use is automatically checked based on a neutral parameter, which is hashed using a cryptographic one-way function, before it is transmitted. The e-mail address is converted into a hash value that cannot be decrypted by Trusted Shops before transmission. After checking for a match, the parameter is automatically deleted.

This is necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops' overriding legitimate interests in providing the buyer protection associated with each specific order and transactional rating services in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR. Further details, also regarding objection, can be found in the Trusted Shops data protection declaration linked above and in the Trustbadge.
